Ways to Get Involved

Become a Member Now

Join the hundreds of other individuals, families, and businesses who have donated to become a Pee Dee Land Trust Member. Membership donations help to support Pee Dee Land Trust's mission to conserve, and to promote an appreciation of, the significant natural, agricultural, and historical resources of the places you love here in the Pee Dee Region. By contributing, members like you demonstrate their belief in our mission, recognize our effectiveness, and enable us to do more and to do it better. Membership certainly has its privileges, including advance and discounted event tickets for members, area conservation updates and a subscription to Oxbows to Tidal Flows, our annual newsletter. Further, you are advancing our mission of protecting the past and ensuring the future of the Pee Dee Region. We are a community-supported 501c3 non-profit organization and your contribution is tax deductible to the fullest extent of IRS regulations.

Gift Memberships, Honorariums and Memorials

There is no finer way to honor friends and family than by protecting the land for generations to come. Make a contribution in honor or in memory of someone special, or give a gift of membership at a special occasion such as a birthday, wedding, or anniversary. We will take care of notifying your gift recipient with a special note.

Donate to the Our Places Endowment Campaign

PDLT is making great progress with “Our Places”, the second phase of our Operating Endowment campaign to support our mission and uphold our conservation agreements in perpetuity. The PDLT Endowment now stands at 90% of our goal to reach $1 million prior to the end of 2017. Contributions can be made in gifts of cash, appreciated stock, and even real estate. For more information, contact Lyles Cooper Lyles, Executive Director, lclyles@peedeelandtrust.org, 843-667-3229. Please consider your role in this important campaign for the future of Pee Dee Land Trust as a voice for the land -- Long Live the Pee Dee! Include the Pee Dee Land Trust in your will or estate plan

There are many ways to include us in your estate plan, and it's less expensive than you might think. For example, you can amend an existing insurance policy to add the Land Trust as an additional beneficiary. If you are interested in learning more about estate planning and the Land Trust, please contact Shannon Copes, Director of Education and Outreach, at scopes@peedeelandtrust.org.
